FLOW-3D AM offers a modeling platform for various additive manufacturing processes based on discrete element method and computational fluid dynamics, including laser powder bed fusion, binder jetting and directed energy deposition. The free surface tracking algorithm and multi-physics can accurately simulate powder spreading, melt pool dynamics, porosity formation, infiltration and spreading, and analyze and optimize process parameters.
